Drugs and Alcohol misuse in the workplace is a very real issue that faces modern society. If ignored, Drugs and Alcohol can have a devastating effect on inter-personal relationships, productivity, and most importantly, safety.

The Group include the only UKAS accredited Laboratories for hair and oral fluid drug testing whilst the Group urine testing Laboratory facility is the largest in Europe. We provide services throughout the world maintaining a personal and individual approach to each client’s needs. Wes have in excess of 10 years experience in dealing with drug and alcohol related issues and offer a complete service to all its customers. This unique way of working allows us to offer policy writing, staff training, testing, laboratory services and care options all under one umbrella. We continue to provide services to many international companies within the airline, manufacturing, retail, transport, maritime, education and leisure industries.
The specialist services we provide are:
- Bespoke Policy Advice – Our policy team will get to know the specific requirements of your company and offer advice on writing a new policy, or updating and amending any existing policy. They also have considerable experience in progressing union negotiations.
- Managerial Training Courses – We offer training courses to help managers and other employees understand and implement an effective Drug and Alcohol policy in to the workplace. This can be achieved in a number of ways including classroom based training, distance learning packages, CD ROM, DVD and other multimedia materials.
- 24 hr Collection Service – Rapier / We have fully trained collectors situated throughout the UK, Ireland and worldwide.
Our sample collection team can provide full chain of custody collection from the various types of testing mediums, including saliva, urine and hair. We also conduct alcohol testing using a calibrated breath alcohol instrument. We will assess your requirements and work practices to advise on the most suitable form of testing.
Whether the testing is pre-employment, random, ‘for cause’, or follow up, our rigorous procedures will ensure that any test results, backed up by expert laboratory analysis, will be legally admissible in a court or tribunal.
- Rehabilitation and Care – We can provide expert advice, supported with an in-depth report that will suggest possible rehabilitation routes for anyone placed on a therapeutic programme. This service can be supported by the Employee Assistance Programme which provides staff with a 24hr confidential help line for issues that may be related to family, finance, bullying or drugs and alcohol.
