SARS-CoV-2 belongs to the broad family of viruses known as coronaviruses. It is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA (+ssRNA) virus. Other coronaviruses are capable of causing illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East respiratory syndrome(MERS). 

People who have confirmed COVID-19 have a range of symptoms, from little to no symptoms to severe illness and death. Most people (about 80%) recover from the disease without needing special treatment. Around 1 out of every 6 people who gets COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and develops difficulty breathing.

  • The test provides more than 100 times higher sensitivity when compared to the commonly sold strip test kits and was shown to be useful in pre-symptomatic phase.


  • The immunofiltration test provides a signal amplification through enzymatic reaction, which increases sensitivity. The sample flows through a porous membrane and is absorbed by absorbent material. If the sample contains antigen at a detectable level, the antigens will be trapped to the specifically functionalized surface and are enzymatically visualized.



  • The test provides highly sensitive results within 3 minutes after obtaining the nasal swabs. The results can directly be visualized without any need for a device. Two blue dots appear in the positive test and one blue dot appears in the negative test.
